Although I don't drink wine on a regular basis, I introduced the thin glass sommelier cup as being from the same series as the wine glasses used in sommelier competitions. This is the French professional tasting wine glass that I ordered for the image shoot.

A wine glass that is right in the middle of casual and elegant

This glass has the shortest stem in the series, but still has this beautiful silhouette. I think it's an exquisite design that's right in the middle between everyday use and something special. If it was too thin or narrow, it would be a hassle to use and wash. In that sense, I think it's a very well-balanced wine glass.
Wine glasses are actually very complex, aren't they? But if you want to enjoy wine casually at home, I think it's best to choose a design you like.
Before you know it, you can imagine a child drinking ginger ale from this wine glass. Lol


I ordered a box of six glasses, but I received a lot of DMs after seeing a photo of them with the sommelier cup on Instagram, and they sold out even though they were not available in the online shop. They have become legendary wine glasses for me. This is the very definition of self-explanatory. lol

The latest, latest materials are the key

This wine glass is made in France, and when it was created, it was made of a material called Kwarx. It seems to have been developed as a highly durable glass. However, for those who enjoy wine, durability is an invisible benefit. To enjoy wine, there is a demand for glass that is both transparent and thin. Inevitably, we must evolve into a stronger material.


So they developed a material called Krysta , which is also used in the Sommelier Wine Glass and Sommelier Cup. (It seems that Kwarx products are still available on the market.)
Krysta is more durable, lighter and more transparent. The sound of clinking glasses when toasting is clearer and lasts longer with Krysta.
Indeed, during inspection, we lightly pluck it with our fingers to check for invisible cracks, and it produces a beautiful sound.

Individually packaged for sale individually

These sommelier wine glasses are imported in packages of six. That's the basic format for commercial products. But if you're buying as an individual, there are probably many people who don't need that many. So, oh sells them individually.
Also, due to the long journey from France and the various environments in which they are stored, the condition of the bottles varies, with some being dusty and others cloudy. It's a shame that, even though the bottles have such high transparency, you can't experience that when you open them.


So at oh, we clean each glass with a cloth made especially for glasses, just like Sommelier Kop. We also check that there are no sharp protrusions (a common problem with commercial glass overseas) before packaging.
We use hard bubble wrap to keep it suspended in the air.
